MPFG's sponsorship program officially started in 2004 after more than a decade running feeding programs in the slums of Bacolod City. For more than 30 years, our program volunteers have visited slum areas and gathered children on the side of the road on a weekly basis to tell them the Gospel message and provide them some food. When children and families are attending regularly, families are surveyed to see if they are suitable to join our sponsorship program to enable children to attend school.
